Sausage and Cider Fest, the single-day food and drink event in Huddersfield, has officially been announced and tickets are now available.
After a successful 2021 with the event visiting several large indoor venues around the UK, Sausage and Cider Fest is expanding to host outdoor events this year. This incredible showing of amazing ciders and sausage flavours, plus a range of entertainment, will be coming to Greenhead Park, Huddersfield on Friday 17th June. Last year the events attracted over 25,000 people nationwide.
Sausage and Cider Fest will feature over 20 amazing types of cider flavours, including some traditional craft ciders through to more well-known brands, plus a range of additional drinks such as prosecco and beers on offer.
All of this is alongside over 15 types of sausage flavours from food suppliers and street food stands.
The soundtrack for the day will be a range of local bands and tribute acts, with the addition of on-stage entertainment such as eating competitions and chilli eating challenges.
Live music will come from Subarctic Monkeys, Scam Fender, The Kopykat Killers, and Flash – A Queen tribute.
Tom Cullen, Marketing Manager for Sausage and Cider Fest, said: “The success of Sausage and Cider Fest indoors has meant we can grow the event to some amazing outdoor sites around the UK, and we feel Huddersfield is one of those locations we could not miss out on. We’re delighted that, after working closely with Kirklees Council’s Events
Team, we can ensure it will help secure and develop great economic benefit to the town by encouraging visitors who will also support local
businesses whilst in the area.”
Tickets are on sale now, with Early Bird tickets priced at just £25 (plus booking fee), subject to availability. You can book here.
