Lottery players living in two Huddersfield postcodes have won £1,000 each if they play on the People’s Postcode Lottery.
Six people in Huddersfield are celebrating today after learning they have each scooped a cash prize of £1,000, all thanks to their postcode.
The windfall comes after two postcodes in Huddersfield were announced as winners of a Daily Prize with People’s Postcode Lottery on Tuesday 22nd June. Four neighbours playing with HD3 4EE won and a further two people scooped a prize with HD7 5EQ.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well wishes to the winners and said: “A big congratulations to our winners in Huddersfield today, what a great surprise for them! I hope they go and treat themselves with their winnings.”
A minimum of 33% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £750 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted on behalf of Postcode Culture Trust. Through regular grant funding, the trust supports charities and good causes working to promote learning, music, art and culture. Funded charities include Science Museum Group, Youth Music and Midlands Art Centre.
The lottery costs from £10 per month for one ticket which is included in all draws within that month. Further details can be found here.
