Police appeal following firearms discharge

Police were called to Clara Street, Huddersfield at about 14.32 on Friday (June 11) to a report of a firearms discharge.

Armed officers attended and police scenes were established on Clara Street and nearby.

A man was located who had suffered an injury.  He is now being treated for injuries described as serious but not believed to be life threatening.

Enquiries remain ongoing to determine precisely what occurred and anyone who has information about the incident is asked to contact Kirklees CID on 101 referencing police log 998 of June 11.
