The Rat Pack tribute show, which is coming to the LBT next month promises to be a fun-filled evening for those attending.
The sixteen piece Leeds based Northern Swing Orchestra will be appearing at the The Lawrence Batley Theatre on Saturday 5th February for a fun filled evening with their Rat Pack tribute show.
The Northern Swing Orchestra was formed in 2019 by Jonathan Wyatt who has over 35 years of experience in the music business, running a big band and entertaining people up and down the country.
Featuring the songs of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jnr. along with some classic Count Basie tunes, the evening promises to be an event not to be missed.
The show will include some timeless Rat Pack songs such as ‘The Lady Is A Tramp’, ‘Me and My Shadow’ and ‘Ain’t That A Kick In The Head’ along with ‘Flight of the Foo Birds’, ‘Corner Pocket’ and ‘Pennies from Heaven’ to name a few.
Three top vocalists will feature in an event that promises to transport theatre-goers back to the Rat Pack heyday.
Jonathan Wyatt from Northern Swing Orchestra said: “The band gets to have a bit of fun on stage and there is very little opportunity in the country to see an authentic line up of all three Rat pack singers along with a full sized Big Band so we are bringing something quite unique to the The Lawrence Batley Theatre”.
