Local resident creates stunning portrait of Christian Eriksen

A local resident has created a beautiful portrait to show support to Danish footballer Christian Eriksen.

David Wright created the stunning portrait using 500 Rubix Cubes which took him around 5 hours to complete to show support to the Danish footballer Christian Eriksen who collapsed during the opening Euro 2020 match against Finland after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Erikson was quickly taken to hospital and has since being discharged and was subsequently able to visit his teammates during a training visit.

David Wright from Huddersfield posted a video (below) of his creative portrait onto his twitter page which has since gained nearly 112,000 views. He has also gained publicity from mainstream media including BBC News.

Speaking to Huddersfield Times – David told us “I built this portrait out of 500 cubes to celebrate the recovery of Christian Eriksen to show he had global support. The entire footballing world was fearing the worst and praying for the best after his collapse and I for one am delighted to hear he is now out of hospital”.

Previously, David has also created portraits of other celebrities including actors from the Netflix series Cobra Kai – Ralph Macchio, William Zabka and Jon Hurwitz.
