Kirklees Council have released their latest batch of apprenticeships for young people across the area.
As part of the new jobs that have been released there are 28 available positions across 14 different job roles within the Council.
Roles include Apprentice Electrician, Apprentice Plumber, Apprentice Joiner, Apprentice Business Support Officer and Apprentice Youth Support Worker + lots more.
Apprenticeships are formal employment programmes which are open to all individuals who are 16 years or older. They allow individuals to obtain experience within a working environment whilst also working towards a formal recognised qualification.
School-leavers are encouraged to find education, employment or training (EET) upon leaving school. According to national statistics the number of young people who were not in education, employment or training (NEET) in 2020 was at 11.5%.
The deadline for all Kirklees Council apprenticeship applications is 11th April 2021.
