Huddersfield Town Women to play at John Smith’s Stadium against Everton

Huddersfield trying to smash current attendance record which stands at 1,115.

Huddersfield Town Women are delighted to announce that they will be hosting their Fourth Round Vitality Women’s FA Cup fixture against Everton at the John Smith’s Stadium on January 30th 2022.

This is a huge fixture for the club, whose home is the Stafflex Arena at Storthes Hall Park, and a big test against a Barclays FA Women’s Super League side. It is also a great opportunity for Huddersfield fans to watch their local women’s football side in action, maybe for the first time.

At the moment, they aim to smash their attendance record of 1,115. However, with Government guidelines subject to change, updates will be posted in due course.

Ticketing information alongside confirmation of kick-off time will be announced in the coming weeks.

“The whole club is incredibly excited to have the privilege of welcoming Jean-Luc Vasseur and his Everton side to Huddersfield,” said Huddersfield Town Women chair Alison Bamforth.

“We are delighted that our players once again have an opportunity to test themselves against WSL opposition, building on the experience of playing Brighton & Hove Albion WFC in last year’s Vitality Women’s FA Cup 5th round.

“I would like to extend huge thanks to Huddersfield Town AFC for hosting the game at the John Smith’s stadium and would love to see the whole of Huddersfield out in force to be that ‘12th man [player/woman]’ and perhaps help generate a bit of FA Cup magic!”

The team will deliver updates regarding this fixture as soon as possible and will post these details on their website and across social channels @HTAFCWomen.
