New research has revealed which of our public parks are the most “Instagrammable” (yes that’s a thing) places to visit this Easter bank holiday – and are completely free of charge.
Unsurprisingly, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park came out on top, racking up over one MILLION hashtags.
Yorkshire Sculpture Park is, of course, famous for its vast array of sculptures and contemporary artworks, making it the perfect place to snap aesthetically pleasing pictures for your feed.
Consumer finance experts at Cashlady.com conducted research into the most Insta-worthy free parks by collating Instagram hashtag data and ranking the findings.
The free parks were ranked from one to ten, with one having the highest number of Instagram hashtags and therefore crowned as the “most instagrammable” spot to visit.
Huddersfield’s Greenhead Park was not too far behind at Number 7 on the list, whilst Beaumont Park made it onto the list at Number 10.
They also analysed the most instagrammable parks across the country, with Hyde Park, London coming in at first place with 2.3 million hashtags, followed by Regent’s Park, London with 448,000 hashtags and then taking the bronze medal was the Peak District national park with a huge 412,000.
Editor Note – It seems like there’s always a Top 10 poll of something nowadays – but here at Huddersfield Times, we’re always happy to share these findings when it relates to something good! This Easter Weekend, why not make the most of the sun, grab a picnic and make the most of the sunshine to take some amazing Insta-worthy pics of your favourite park.
