The new Cash Generator store promises to be different from its predecessors
A brand new Cash Generator store opened its doors earlier this month, so Huddersfield Times spoke to franchise owner Jimmy Moore to see what’s new.
The new store was opened on Friday 4th June on New Street in Huddersfield (next door to PoundBakery) by owner Jimmy. It’s one of 4 stores in his estate including others in Bolton, Rochdale and Salford.
The new store is a huge step away from the previous Cash Generator (John William Street) which closed down several years ago. The store is designed to an extremely high standard as well as boasting a ‘TV wall’ and a ‘Music Wall’.
Owner Jimmy was keen to move the store away in a different direction, and therefore doesn’t offer loans or money transfers as previous outlets did in the past. This allows the store to purely focus on its ‘buy and sell’ format. The move also allows staff to focus on providing exceptionally high customer service within their retail capacity.
The store has also been working alongside various stockists which allows them to showcase a wide range of designer products. Currently, they are featuring Armani handbags which they are able to sell at a discounted price.
Owner Jimmy told Huddersfield Times: “We are really passionate about showcasing the quality products that we stock. We have worked hard to ensure that our new Huddersfield store is completely different from the previous style of Cash Generator outlet that occupied the Town Centre. We had a really successful launch, and are excited to continue to welcome our new customers to the store.”
There has been wide praise across social media for the refreshed store design and its new business approach. The store regularly post featured items onto their social media. You can find out more by visiting their Facebook page.
