Could your pet be a winner?

Pet Portrait Awards 2021 launched!

The Huddersfield & Halifax Pet Portrait Awards for 2021 have been launched and pet owners are invited to enter their pets for a free studio or location photoshoot in Huddersfield.

Professional photographer John Woods, who has launched the awards, has run a portrait studio for over 30 years in the Byram Arcade in Huddersfield town centre. He said of the Awards;

“Pet portraits have become really popular over recent years with more customers than ever booking in for photo sessions with their four-legged friends. The Awards are a good opportunity for owners to get a professional portrait taken both for the competition and for themselves”.

Families can be included in some of the photographs from each session though the entry picture must be a single one of the pet.

West Yorkshire Dog Rescue and the RSPCA are also set to benefit from the Awards as £10 from the sale of prints will be split between both charities.

The awards will be judged in December by independent judges from several local pet-related businesses.
