Christmas and New Year changes to public transport – here’s everything you need to know

Bus and train services will be running to different times over the Christmas and New Year period.

As we fast approach the Christmas holidays, many people will be out and about travelling on public transport over the festive period.

However, passengers are being advised to take note of the upcoming changes to service times during the Christmas and New Year period.

We’ve got all the information you need below:

Bus Travel

Monday 20th – Thursday 23rd December
Normal Weekday Service

Friday 24th December – Christmas Eve
Weekday service until 18:00pm with all buses finished by 20:00pm

Saturday 25th December – Christmas Day
No services operating across Huddersfield

Sunday 26th December – Boxing Day

Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th (Bank Holidays)
Sunday service.

Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th December
Saturday service.

Friday 31st December – New Year’s Eve
Saturday service until 18:00pm with all buses finished by 20:00pm

Saturday 01st January 2022 – New Year’s Day
No services operating across Huddersfield

Sunday 02nd January
Sunday service

Monday 03rd January (Bank Holiday)
Sunday service

Tuesday 04th January
Normal services resume
